“Golden Gate” is the view from baker beach on a sunny day. I call my landscapes, “energyscapes” because they are more about what is underneath the surface. When i do an enegyscape, i try to accept the enegy of the place i’m at and let that influence the painting. I notice the patterns in nature and try to represent the spirit nature. I’m usually not too concerned with portraying an exact representation of the place i’m painting, i believe that it is more important to paint the mood or feeling of that particular location.
